At school I enjoyed acting and science. I took A Levels in Chemistry; Biology and Geography. My Chemistry teachers always told me how they hoped I would pass my exams and leave
because my experiments always went wrong!
When I left school I went to Durham University where I studied Botany with David Bellamy. David Bellamy was a very inspiring teacher, who was passionate about peat bogs and sphagnum moss. All his students had to eat samples of both!! |
