Recent Art & Design topics have included Portrait work and Still Life.

We have  looked at the work of artists as varied as Picasso and Arcimboldi (Years 1/2), Van Gogh, Gary Blythe, Henry Moore and Paula Rego (Years 3/4), as inspiration for our own portrait work using paint, pastels, pens/pencils, 3D and collage techniques.

Years 5/6 and 7/8 have been investigating the contrasting paint techniques employed by Cezanne and Picasso and incorporating some of these ideas in their own Still Life compositions.
