A whole school performance of Charles Dickens' classic story was well received by an audience made up of family and friends at Weymouth Baptist Church.

Scrooge ( Henry Eakins) had a mammouth task in learning a huge script but managed to pull off the performance of his life.

Using a script adapted by John Mortimer for the RSC the children were stretched to their very limits as they grappled with the complexities of the literature and a sense of empathy with the historical setting.  

Liam Jiggins( Headmaster, Mr Fezziwig and Spirit of Christmas to Come) revealed an otherwise hidden talent as a gifted and talented actor. Alexander Schooling gave a dazzling performance as the child Scrooge.

Belle ( Georgia Sykes) was most convincing as she told the young Scrooge ( Kyle Reynolds) that their relationship was over.

Sopie Luque( Street Girl) skipped and darted through the streets as though she had spent her whole life living on the streets.
