Years 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 have entered The Friends of Weymouth Library's story writing competetion, entitled 'Shipwreck!'

With great enthusiasm, every pupil from Year 3 to Year 8 planned, wrote and rewrote their 'Shipwreck' stories. The results were extremely imaginative, entertaining and often humourous, with a real sense of the narrator's character coming through in the writing.

Years 3,4,5 and 6 voted for their favourite stories; the most popular in those years belonged to: Barnabas, Sophie, Joseph, Joyce, Leah, Fraser and Grace.

Years 7 and 8, Alexander and Mickey's stood out for their complex plots, not to mention the sheer voume of text!
