The nursery children have been learning about eggs, which kinds of creatures lay eggs and how they hatch.  They looked at raw eggs and saw how they changed when cooked.  They made and ate delicious egg sandwiches and melted chocolate and krispies for nests, which they filled with chocolate mini eggs.

Just before Easter, after watching the ‘Maisie' video ‘eggs' the children participated in an Easter egg hunt in the garden, searching for chocolate bunnies and eggs amongst the flowers and plants.  Afterwards a chocolate feast was enjoyed by all!
