On Thursday 8th May our Reception and afternoon Nursery children enjoyed a wonderful time at Lorton Meadows. We went on a guided walk through the meadows looking at the insects and plants. We each had a leaf shaped card to collect samples of all of the different colours that we could find.

Back at the centre we saw  live webcam pictures of the inside of the nesting box on the wall outside .

We then had an exciting session of pond dipping and found an amazing array of creatures living in the water.
