Good handwriting is always a pleasure to see and is an achievement to be proud of.

Now pupils' efforts will be recognised each week in Assembly; in addition to this, every half term, there will be recognition for year group samples entered into the following categories:

• the most improved handwriting 
• the best handwriting 

and the samples will be displayed for all to enjoy!

Cursive or 'joined' handwriting has an added bonus: it enables the writer to remember spellings more easily - and write more quickly once the skill has been mastered.
