Everyone at Thornlow learns French from Reception.

We want your child to become aware of other countries, cultures and customs through speaking French and hearing it spoken by French people. We begin with practical activities at Foundation stage and progress through the Common Entrance syllabus.

Learning to communicate with and enjoy the company of people who speak other languages has got to be fun. We hope to stimulate our pupils to go on and learn other languages in the future.
