Sailing is the jewel in the crown of our sporting endeavours. Thornlow is one of very few select prep schools to be nominated a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) teaching establishment.

We sail at Castle Cove Sailing Club on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and we compete at a high level.

Our fleet comprises six Optimists, one Wayfarer, one Lysander, one RIB and a motor launch. In addition to these boats we hire, on a weekly basis, six Toppers.
