Preparing children for life's horizons

Friends of Thornlow

Welcome to the Friends of Thornlow.

Our purpose is to organise social events in order to bring together parents, staff and children on an informal basis. All parents, staff, grandparents, ex-parents and staff of Thornlow are automatically members, as are ex-pupils over the age of 18.

We take part in a number of fundraising schemes including the collection of used printer ink cartridges which can be brought into school and placed in the collection box in the office. We have also registered with "The Giving Machine", "Empties Please" and "Boxtops4Education".

Should you wish to join us or have any suggestions for future fundraising events, please speak to a member of the committee, email us at Our e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or post your suggestions in our red box outside the office.

Further information about us can be found on our notice board in school.

Thank you for your support.
